End of Day One

Goal: Unreached

However, I did end up finishing that essay, and my reading log, AND my pretest. I suppose that even small accomplishments that have nothing to do with NaNoWriMo, are still accomplishments, in the end.

I did end up making a banner for the novel, though. It’s just a working title. We’ll see how long it lasts.

First Full Day

My feet are cold. I’ve written 2232 words. My inspiration is everywhere, and nowhere. I have no plot. I have one character. It’s in first/second person. It’s a complete screwup of what a novel is supposed to be. But it’s mine.

I still haven’t started my essay, or my reading log. We’ll see when those puppies finally get finished.

My goal for today: 3334 words.

Only Five Hours Until Launch

And I find myself at a lack of ideas. Of course, I didn’t even decide to sign up for it until today, but that doesn’t change the fact that I’m diving into these unchartered waters feet-first. Without an oxygen tank, no less. What’s worse: I have an essay due on Monday, along with a reading log. Never fear, though. I expect a good thousand words, by the end of this 25-hour work day. Let’s see what I can do with the limited resources I’ve given myself.

Godspeed, my fellow writers. I’ll meet you at the end, or at The Wall, whichever comes first.
